Kenneth L. Fishman

Kenneth Louis Fishman, who passed away on March 16, 2022, was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts on April 13, 1939, as the eldest son of Ida Fishman and Dr. William Fishman.

Ken attended Boston Latin School, earned his A.B. degree in government from Harvard College (Class of 1960 and member of Quincy House), and attended both Stanford Law School and Boston College Law School where he earned his J. D. degree in 1964.

Ken began his legal career as an attorney with the U.S. Patent office in Washington, D.C. In the years to follow, Ken served as an attorney for Haseltine Lake in New York City, and for Richardson Vicks in Wilton, Connecticut.

Ken loved many sports (particularly basketball, baseball and tennis) and was an ardent fan of the Golden State Warriors and Chicago White Sox. Ken played basketball in his younger adult years, and tennis throughout his adult life. As an accomplished tennis player, Ken had an overflowing shelf of tennis trophies that he proudly displayed in his residence at the Palace in Coral Gables, where he was the unofficial "social director," and was widely known for his gregarious personality, keen wit, and great sense of humor. Ken also enjoyed playing ping pong and was a strong player who rarely lost a match, even against much younger opponents.

Ken is survived by his two children (both from his first marriage to the former Diane Verona): his son Mark Fishman, Mark's wife Ambar Fishman and their son Andrew, and daughter Pamela Taylor, her husband Donald Taylor and their four children, Nicolas, Madison, Kali and Kobi.
