Paul Kirk Leads Effort to Revitalize U.S. Senate

Paul G. Kirk, Jr. , former U.S. Senator (D) from Massachusetts, helped lead 69 other former Republican and Democrat U.S. Senators in calling on the incumbent Senate to create a bipartisan caucus to protect and restore the Senate’s constitutional and legislative powers, and prevent further eroding of the institution. See the press release and the open letter to the U.S. Senate here.

Consider encouraging your own networks to urge local area opinion leaders and editorial boards, etc. to support the concept of a bipartisan caucus of incumbent U.S. Senators whose purpose will be to conduct a senate governance self-evaluation in order to, among other things, restore its "regular order" and resume its constitutional duties to legislate and oversee public policy.
