The Stockyard, Brighton

The Harvard Class of 1960's Greater Greater Boston Area Group gathered at The Stockyard Restaurant in Brighton (Boston) on Friday, November 1, 2019. Twenty-four (24) Harvard ’60 classmates attended, including Bob Adams, Bob Bray, Peter Chen, Ed Cutter, Lou Geoffrion, Ron Goodman, Mel Hodder, Dave Kopelman, Gerry Levenson, Fred Leventhal, Bill Markus, Henry Marcy, Hank Morgan, Joe Murphy, Tare Newbury, Peter Papesch, Don Quinn, David Ries, Will Rogers, Richard Saval, Lionel Spiro, Steve Weddle, John Wilson and David Wizansky. Peter Papesch took photographs!

We probably won’t be going back to The Stockyard. While the location is good for most, the Wine Room is too noisy, and the cost (roughly $60.00 per person) is outrageous.

However, we did enjoy our time together and had a nice lunch involving three entrees along with potatoes and vegetables served family style, coffee and dessert. A good deal of the discussion revolved around our upcoming 60th Reunion planning which began in June 2019. Already the Committee, with Ken Marshall and Liia Vilms (Radcliffe ’60) as Co-Chairs, has met three times with a fourth meeting scheduled for December 10. Most everyone in attendance at this luncheon indicated that they are planning to attend the Reunion.
