Twenty-two (22) Harvard ’60 classmates attended a Class Luncheon in the Briar Room at Embassy Suites (formerly DoubleTree Guest Suites) in Waltham, Massachusetts on Friday, October 12, 2018.

Those in attendance included Bob Bray, Bill Cunningham, Ed Cutter, Ken Deitch, Ron Goodman, David Hawkins, Joe Hurd, David Kopelman, Charles Ladoulis, Gerry Levenson, Fred Leventhal, Henry Marcy, Bill Markus, Ken Marshall, Peter Mebel, Hank Morgan, Joe Murphy, Don Quinn, Will Rogers, Richard Saval, Henry Wadzinski and John Wilson.

After enjoying the camaraderie during the reception, classmates were seated and partook in a lunch consisting of a tossed mixed green salad, chicken fricassee and key lime pie. Carlos, our very congenial server, was amazingly efficient and expeditious. After lunch, we passed around the wired microphone we had rented for the occasion so that all could be heard as they communicated what has recently been the most important goings-on in their lives.

Charles Ladoulis (in the absence of Class Photographer, Peter Papesch) took some photos at the gathering, which can be seen here.

Henry reminded everyone that our 60th Reunion is not that far off – the week of May 25 – 29, 2020. Please consider participating in the planning; Henry, Bill Markus, Steve Weddle, Tare Newbury, Jane Simon and Betsy Peterson would love to have you join them. planning meetings will begin in the spring of 2019.

Also, please take a look occasionally at our Class website, https://h1960.classes.harvard.edu.

Our next event is the HAA Crimson Watch Party at the House of Blues on Saturday, November 17, 2018. The next event after that is our Class Luncheon on Thursday, February 7, 2019. The plan for February 7 is to gather together at a couple of tables (reserved ahead of time) in a place like The Stockyard (Brighton) or The Chateau (Waltham) … and have each attendee order off the menu and pay his own bill.
