John Edward Laskin

John Edward Laskin died October 29, 2007, in San Francisco, California.

He was born April 27, 1939, in New York City, and prepared at Phillips Exeter Academy. A resident of Adams House while at the College, he received his A.B. with the Class in 1960.

After a stint in the army he studied urban planning at the University of Washington, then worked for many years as a private investor in San Francisco.

He was an avid oenophile and took a keen interest in urban planning issues in his adopted hometown of San Francisco.

He was survived by a sister, Sally Felzen, and a twin brother, James.
