John Garrison reports that he received the American Respiratory Foundation 2016 Dr. Charles H. Hudson Award for Cardiopulmonary Public Health in October. The Hudson Award recognizes efforts to positively influence the public's awareness of cardiopulmonary health and wellness.
John also delivered the commencement address to the Albright College (Reading, PA) Class of 2016 (in May, 2016) and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities. Following the address, John had the opportunity to meet two Harvard graduates now on the Albright faculty, Dr. Richard Androne 1968 and Dr. Thomas Blakely 1967.
Previously, John received an Honorary Doctorate from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska.
